I have a long way to go. About 100 pounds. I've yo-yoed just about all my life but tired of it. This time is THE time. I know I can do it. I'm at a point in my life where I've started to mature and grow into my own person and I'm now ready to take charge of my weight.

I, like most women, want to look good in a bathing suit. I want to not be afraid of mirrors or getting my picture taken. I want to walk into a room and NOT wonder if people are thinking "God she's fat!" I want to not constantly worry if I won't be able to find a pair a pants at the store because they might have stopped carrying my size. I want to have the endurance to go on long walks with my dog. I want to live long and live a life of joy. I want to be comfortable in my own body. I want to be healthy.

Weight loss does not require perfection. It requires perseverance.

These are the rewards I'm giving myself when I reach specific goals:

*lose 5 pounds: A new purse with a matching wallet (DONE! 12/4/11)
*lose 10 pounds: Get my hair colored!
*lose 15 pounds: A pedicure to go with my...
*lose 20 pounds: ...super hot heels!
*lose 25 pounds: I think it's time for some clothes shopping!
*lose 30 pounds: More sexy shoes!
*lose 35 pounds: A cool purse!
*lose 40 pounds: I should need a cute workout outfit by now.
*lose 45 pounds: Maybe some fun jewelry because it's time for...
*lose 50 pounds: ...more clothes...
*lose 55 pounds: ...and more shoes!!!
*lose 60 pounds: And to go with all the above, I'll buy some random fun accessories - scarves, hats, whatevs :P
*lose 65 pounds: It's time for another purse!
*lose 70 pounds: Makeover!
*lose 75 pounds: Another 25 pounds gone = clothes!
*lose 80 pounds: Buy myself TWO pairs of hot heels!
*lose 85 pounds: TBA
*lose 90 pounds: TBA
*lose 95 pounds: TBA
*lose 100 pounds: TBA
*lose 105 pounds: Finally get my own Little Black Dress complete with accessories, shoes, and a purse
*lose 107 pounds: GOAL!!! Treat myself to a day at the spa and then buy that bikini!

Personal Information:
I'm 5'6'' and obese. I'm a college student with (I hope) a bright future ahead of me, but I feel like I'm killing myself with my eating habits. I'm still young, though, and I want to be able to enjoy my youth. This is the beginning of a new, healthier me!
