I am finally back after 4 months. Both my parents have been ill. My mom had back surgery and unable to do anything for 6 weeks and my dad after fighting c-diff for months found out that he has ruined his bladder. He will now have to wear a catheter for the rest of his life. The hardest part in all of this is trying to take care of a man who refuses to take better care of himself. I did not realize how much this has effected me till I got home. I look older, I have pimples and I am almost 53 years old and I have absolutely no energy. The silver lining in this all is that I did not gain more than 3 or 4 pounds. I was unable to workout like I normally do since I was helping my parents. I do not know if anyone will see this but it just felt good to say I am back and ready to dig into my recovery. 999 days ago
