I used to work downtown. I would bring a bag lunch and use the extra time to walk around the square one time. Depending on how much time I had, I would either take the sidewalk closer to the capital or the one across the street to make a slightly longer walk.
I was still overweight, but I was a lot more fit than now.
If there is some way you can find a way to walk at lunch, that might help with stress relief??

I, too, have a health motivation this year. Arthritis in my knee and ankle. Dr. says losing weight will help.
It is January 5 already and I still have my motivation. Soon we will be seeing the numbers on the scale moving down.
We Can Do This!

Doing pretty well, actually. Exercising daily, still spinning a lot! Eating as clean as I can, sticking to whole foods (nothing processed), staying low carb (as well as low fat). Making some progress, albeit slow. emoticon
You know, one thing I've added to my diet regime is green tea with lemon (lots of lemon juice, cause I don't care for the flavor of green tea), and I really think it's helping! Might be worth a try . . . BTW, I dislike hot beverages, so I steep the tea & then pour it over ice. emoticon
Looks like Kathy is trying to get the team going again. Maybe we'll meet again there. If not, let's check up on each other . . . emoticon emoticon
