4/27/14 - In 2009 I lost 73 pounds with the help of the prescribed medication Phentercot (phentermine). I crashed emotionally terribly after coming off the medication and gained back all the weight plus almost 35 more. After that bad experience I didn't want to try again and stopped caring. Now I am back to losing weight and being able to move and feel better.

8. BMI in the Healthy range - no longer Overweight. (158)

10. Hike Pilot Mountain, 2,420 feet elevation, 4.3 miles strenuous Mountain trail

My Program:
I have 8 goals:

*Track and stay within calorie range

*Keep Sodium under 2300 mg (for HBP)

*Track 32 minutes of exercise (treadmill - raising gradually)

*Get 8 hours of sleep

*Drink 8 glasses of water

*Have 5 fruits & vegetables (will raise to 8 eventually)

*Get 3,333 steps (will raise to 10,000 gradually)

*Get as many Spark points as possible

Cook healthy dinners instead of eating out

Walk my dog

Track Strength exercises

Personal Information:
I grew up in northern IN, moved to NJ, CA, IL and now live in NC. I'm married with 3 kids (youngest in college). We have a beagle named Hunter and care for our daughter's cat named Maxwell.

I love to read and enjoy watching movies based on books, as well as old Oscar movies. My screen name is "cyber-librarian" on Bookcrossing. I also enjoy genealogy.
