New mini goal is weighing less on my birthday than I did on my last birthday. Goal: 248 by July 22

4/27/14 - In 2009 I lost 73 pounds with the help of the prescribed medication Phentercot (phentermine). I crashed emotionally terribly after coming off the medication and gained back all the weight plus almost 35 more. After that bad experience I didn't want to try again and stopped caring. Now I am back to losing weight and being able to move and feel better.

My Goals:
Eat healthy and exercise as a lifestyle.

Manage high blood pressure and cholesterol.

Lose 129 pounds in 129 weeks (2.5 years) 903 days on the treadmill.

BMI in the Healthy range. (158)

Reduce medication from 7 pills to 1 per day.

My Program:
*Track and stay within calorie range

*Keep Sodium under 2300 mg (for HBP)

*Track 15 minutes of exercise (treadmill - raising gradually)

*Get 8 hours of sleep

*Drink 8 glasses of water

*Have 5 fruits & vegetables (will raise to 8 eventually)

*Get 2,000 steps (will raise to 10,000 gradually)

*Get as many Spark points as possible

*Cook healthy dinners instead of eating out

I grew up in northern IN, moved to NJ, CA, IL and now live in NC. I'm married with 3 grown kids and a grandson. We have a beagle named Hunter.

One can start over with one's weight loss journey as often as needed for one's good health!

For example, as per blood test results or blood pressure level or even higher self-esteem or happiness levels.

I saw one of your posts in 240ville. I too gained weight during the holiday season. Back on track since 1/3. I'm down to 246 lbs. I hope to be out of 24ville by the beginning of Feb. Linda
