I've been heavy my entire adult life. [though not at all as a child] I've tried some different things, but I've never been too successful. [obviously!] Now, I'm tired of living w/all this extra weight. So.... this time is THE time... I WILL lose this weight this time around. I know I have a long way to go, but each day I stay on track is one day closer to my goal. Whoooo hooooo!!!

My Goals:
I have a lot of weight to lose. My main goal is to make sure I'm doing in a healthy manner. I want to do it in a way that will allow me to learn a new way of eating, healthy eating, making the right choices. No fad diets, just making the right choices at the right time.

My Program:
Mainly I'm watching calories. This site makes that SO easy!! I love that.

I'm getting ready to start a new exercise regime as well. Next monday my neighbor is coming over to show me the right way to use my new home gym.

And I'm going to start doing other things as well.. such as using my treadmill which is an inch thick in dust!!!

"I can't do it" never yet accomplished anything; "I will try" has performed wonders.

Don't ever say you can't do it! Whatever it is you want to accomplish, keep trying and never give up. It won't always be easy, but it will be worth it!
    Hugs,
    Pixie

Haven't heard from you in a while. I hope you are doing well. If you've lost your motivation, I'll help you find it. Come by and say hi, ok?

Wishing you a 2010 full of possibilities! May you have much happiness, good health, and may you continue to make strides towards your goals!

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself:
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Now if a guy name GROUCHO can have such a great attitude, why can't we? Let's commit to making the choice to be happy each day as we continue on our journey toward better health!
    Wishing you a happy Wednesday!
    Hugs,

"...acknowledge that making changes in your life is never an easy task.
The key, however, is not to get caught up in the distance you have to go to get to where you want to be.
Nor should you despair over the amount of control you have over your circumstances.
Progress is made in the small, intentional steps, and chances are, you have more power than you think.
By focusing on little steps you can take every day,the progress you make will motivate you to continue your journey, and eventually, you can go wherever you want to go. The important thing is simply to begin.
    ( Stephen Cherniske, M.S)

Have a terrific Thursday, Sparkfriend! Remember to keep taking those steps every day...even small steps will take you to your goal! Now, repeat after me; "I can do it...and I am worth it!"
