Greetings from North Idaho! I have been dieting all my life and have lost 20-30 pounds and gained it back repeatedly. I am excited to be a member of Spark people. This time I am going to make it happen. I want to do it for me. I have always had a hard time staying focused on my diet. It works for a while and then something happens and "poof", I'm off the diet.

My Goals:
1. Lose 4 pounds each month.
2. Exercise/walk 40-120 min. per day.
3. Weights-5 times a week. Yoga 6 times a week.
4. Walk up the steep hill without getting winded.
5. Lower Blood pressure
6. Lower cholesteral
7. Enjoy life!

Goal rewards:
12 pounds: A new CD or movie
18 pounds: new clothes
24 pounds: weekend trip
30 pounds: weekend trip
36 pounds: more new clothes
42 pounds: new musical instrument
48 pounds: weekend trip
54 pounds: more new clothes
60 pounds: new toy
66 pounds: weekend trip
72 pounds: new clothes
80 pounds: cruise


My Program:
1. Eat only nutritious food, no empty calories.
2. Drink water
3. Walk every day
4. Weight training 5 days
6. Track what I eat-calories 1200 per day.
7. Journal
8. Encourage others on Spark site and at TOPS




Personal Information:
My name is Connie and I live in the mountains in beautiful North Idaho! I love to garden, both flowers and vegetables, hiking and being outdoors. I am 61, retired and enjoying life!


Other Information:
I play the piano and the guitar and sometimes play with the Cougar Creek Band! It is so much fun! Music makes me feel so good!
