Small Changes Make Big Impact

Hello all! My name is Loren. I started Sep 20, 2009 with my goal to lose 120 lbs or reach 22% body fat, which ever comes first. It has been quite a fascinating journey so far, learning to use food for energy, not emotional support. I'm concentrating on mini goals of 10% weight loss every 3 months. I hope to reach my goal by Spring 2011. Wish me luck!

First 12-week program of 10% weight loss goal: 250 lbs to 220 lbs

Second 12-week program of 10% weight loss goal: 220 lbs to 200 lbs

Third 12-week program of 10% weight loss goal: 200 lbs to 180 lbs

II. Exercise Plan

a. 225 minutes cardio per week
b. two sessions with fitness trainer per week

III. Mental Focus

a. Relaxation Techniques and Stress Management
b. Reading books and Internet articles/blogs
c. Positive Thinking

Stats: 5 foot 6 inches, 32 years, female, 250 lbs, 49.1% body fat.

Goal: 130 lbs or 22% body fat, by Hydrostatic Testing.

Start: 9/20/09 @ 250 lbs - 49.1% body fat.
End: 12/12/09 @ 228 lbs - 42.5% body fat.

Second 10% weight loss stats:
Start 1/20/10 @ 230 lbs - 42.6% body fat.
End 4/15/10 @ 207 lbs - 36.7% body fat.

Third 10% weight loss stats:
Start 4/20/10 @ 210 lbs - 36.7% body fat.
End 7/12/10 @ 184 lbs - 31.0% body fat.
