I am a Christ following 33 year old mother of two awesome girls and wife to the best husband ever! For some reason, I have somehow obtained an unhealthy OBSESSION with food over the course of the last 3-4 years. I just feel overwhelmed by it. The problem is that I don't know why. I don't know what causes it.

I love working out when I am in the habit. It is so weird. I mean I love it but if I let myself get off track, it is like pulling teeth to get back on track.

The year I decide to get serious has become one crazy year. I lost 15 pounds in the first few months. I have gained about 7 of it back. I got achilles tendonitis and was not allowed to work out for the past 4 1/2 months. One month ago, my husband was ran over...literally by a shuttle bus in Vegas. We have the pictures of tread impression on his back to prove it!!! He is doing remarkably well. The Lord really protected him. He has no major injuries. Just banged up is all....bruised caritiledge(sp?) and some shoulder pain. That is it. God is good!

Spark is it. I am trying to keep track of my calories and exercise. Would love to find a group in my area but all I know about is weight watchers. Been there done that.

I love to read. My favorite authors are Jane Austen, Nicholas Sparks and John Grisham. I have read every single Nicholas Sparks book there is. My favorite all time books are: Dear John by Nicholas Sparks, Pride and Prejustice by Jane Austen and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.

In reading your Spark Page we sound very similar. I absolutely LOVE food so I had to find a way to prepare it in a more healthful way so that I could still enjoy it. I make nothing off limits (except fast food, I keep that to a bare minimum) - if I really want something I eat it but just a little bit. I too suffer from the all or nothing exercise pattern ... when I am into it I am fully into it otherwise it is hard to get my butt off the couch / chair and get going!!!!!!! I wish you great success towards your life's improvment - every little change you make towards betterment needs to be acknowledged and rewarded so be sure to always talk yourself up and stay positive!!!!!!!!!

Hey there - saw you needed support on our FN huddle wall. Hang in there! This can be a rough journey sometimes but it's definitely worth it!!
