My Goals:
I recently graduated with a BA of English, minor in Communications, and one of the biggest goals I have currently is to succeed in my field (with a writing job, preferably). My second biggest goal is to lose 100lbs, not only to be healthier but also to look better. I've never been able to shop anywhere I wanted, I always had to choose the special stores/sections for big women. I want to finally break out of that and be able to shop anywhere.

My Program:
I keep a mainly vegetarian diet currently, but am going to be slowly going toward vegan again as my waistline changes (and my wallet).
I work out six days a week, beginning with 30 minutes and will be eventually bringing that up to two hours. I just haven't seen results I want to see so I figure more time exercising cannot hurt.

Personal Information:
I'm in central Illinois, hoping to move to Toronto, Alaska, Vermont, or Northern California whenever I get the opportunity.

Other Information:
I am a freelance photographer, horror writer, hair stylist, computer guru, and friend to all musical instruments. I have a cat named Zeus who is my best friend. I'd like to lose weight so I don't become the cliched 'lonely fat girl with cats.'

Wow, that is absolutely incredible! Just everything, how you came to meet those guys and how Brandon came into your life. That's really neat. You have a lot of guts chasing after someone but good for you! I wish I had the guts to do something like that. If I ever like a guy, I automatically shy away and try not to show it because I always think they'd never like me. And it's good to hear that he wants you to lose the weight for yourself and not for him. Just like the weight, you need to do several other things for yourself, like doing well in school. A person isn't a true friend if they criticize you for not having enough time for them and make fun of you for not partying all of the time. I can't stand people like that. I lived in a dorm for two years and so many people were like that. If you wouldn't party with them six days out of the week, you were automatically a loser. Like, wow. Grow up.

Sorry I took a while to reply. I was just spending time with my mom in the city for a week while we celebrated Canada Day, saw Children of Bodom and Devin Townsend, and she had surgery and a biopsy. I moved back to her place in a nearby small town after my apartment contract was up in May, so now I'm kind of isolated, but that's ok. Since I don't have a job out here, I've been able to focus on losing weight, but yeah, I haven't gotten far. Just lost a few inches but actually gained weight, which I know is from muscle, but still, you'd think after two months the scale would budge just a bit. Nope. And I just gained five pounds while staying in the city so now I'm inclined to do the whole eating 1200 calories a day and going on walks so I can lose around ten pounds before going back to Jillian Michaels stuff. I know it's just a number on the scale, but I was hoping to be 15 pounds lighter (ugh, now 15 and not 10 due to that weight gain) before moving to Sweden.

Sorry for rambling! We do have a lot of catching up. Do you have Facebook/MSN/Skype or anything?

There you are! I am freaking happy for you that you found someone and are halfway to your goal! IF you haven't been exercising, I guess you've just been watching what you eat, right? It's been a bit frustrating for me because I've been working my ass off (well, not for the past couple weeks though), primarily doing Jillian DVD'S, but haven't lost a single pound. I did at least lose a few inches here and there, but I swear I look the same. I know this is the healthy way to do it but sometimes you just feel like screwing it, taking it easy on the high-intensity exercise, and eat around 1300 calories per day, you know? My body responds very well to that, it seems.

Are you going to be doing Zumba again? Or how about weight-lifting? Either way, I'm proud of you for making so much progress and coming back here. :D

I'm doing well. Just a bit hectic since I'll be moving away in a month, so I've been making several trips to Edmonton to run errands, hang with certain friends for the last time, etc, which not only disrupts my exercise routine, but also my diet.

Btw, have you gone to any awesome concerts recently? :D
