A little about me. Today is May 2, 2015. I am 44 years old and I am fighting to get my life back on track. I have gained 22 pounds over the last few months. I sit back and ask myself, how did I get here.

First, of all this weight gain has been totally emotional. I do not eat a lot, but I have definitely made the wrong choices in food and drinks. I hardly ever drink soda, but I found myself drinking COKES OFTEN. COKES became my coping mechanism.

I found out the guy I was dating, 100% lied about himself....that was the biggest form of betrayal to me. I have since moved on. Currently, I am not interested in dating. I have decided to take this year off and get myself together mentally, emotionally and physically.

I am definitely in need of accountability partners, people who honestly understand the struggle I am dealing with.
