Endless Journey

When I first wrote my introduction in 2007 my opening line was 'I am a thin person trapped in a fat body'. However, since starting with Spark People I have lost 30+ pounds, so I can now say that I am a thinner person trapped in a chubby body BUT still desperately trying to break out! Well, actually I am not so desperate now, just a little more aware of all that I consume and how much exercise I do daily.

All I really know now is that each one of us has all that we need to get in ...

However, since starting with Spark People I have lost 30+ pounds, so I can now say that I am a thinner person trapped in a chubby body BUT still desperately trying to break out! Well, actually I am not so desperate now, just a little more aware of all that I consume and how much exercise I do daily.

All I really know now is that each one of us has all that we need to get in shape and the outcome is only dependant on how much we really want to change. I now want to change enough that resisting foods that will (in large amounts) inevitably lead to weight gain, are much easier to resist. I also know that we need to exercise to stay in shape, to build a strong heart/lungs as well as being a great stress reliever.

The motto I try to live by these days is "Just do it". It really is that simple.

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to lose weight, but after gaining a few too many pounds, I now realize the importance of being fit, so I want that too.

I have always had a love/hate relationship with food, and this has forced me to sample the gamut of disordered eating patterns, now I want to do things properly and consistently.



My Program:
My aim is to do some type of physical activity on a daily basis, something ...anything, which really isn't difficult since I exercise two active dogs daily.

Personal Information:
I am an Aussie girl who was born in Melbourne and lived in Sydney before taking the plunge and moving to sunny-less in Seattle.

I have a wonderful husband who is fitness obsessed, and two training buddies, Zoe (CGC/Delta) & Zack (CGC), both of whom I absolutely adore.

I am the owner of RevolutionDog, LLC and provide Private Training & Behavior Counseling for canines in need.





Other Information:
Everything is big in the US, including the portion sizes. Unfortunately, it has taken me 6 yrs and an extra 45 pounds to realize this - and now I want my old body back!

Here is a HUG, to get you thru the days. Always remember you are not alone. This journey is long and slow if we are going to do it right. It's a lifestyle change and not a diet. And it's OK to lose the UMPH to get MOVIN' again and be on the right track.

But we are SO WORTH IT, to continue the struggle UPWARDS towards beating this BATTLE of the BULGE that so wants to BEAT US DOWN.

But I say NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!! It, LBS, will not WIN, WE WILL WIN!!! YES, WE ARE WOMEN, and WE ARE STRONGER THAN LBS!!! Hugs, Anna
