I'm 5'6 so I'm a little taller, but still in the same "not too short, but not too tall either" range :-) Unfortunately though, most of my height is in my torso and my legs aren't very long. Oh well, not something I can change. However, I do think that with people that I see that are much thinner and more toned, you tend to look taller. So my goal is to get (my legs in particular) as toned as possible so that I can look great! I have the same problem with gaining weight back too - last time I got down to like 128 I was just running with no strength training. I was running like 30 miles a week and eating like 1200 calories a day. Needless to say, thats not really something that I could keep up over the long term. Now I weigh 131 and I'm not as toned as I was then, but I've been trying to lose weight through strength training as well so I will be more fit and can keep it off.

Congrats on your weight loss so far! I saw your post about toning up, and I just really related to it because I am also pretty close to my goal weight (I would love to lose like 10 lbs, but I am not overweight) but mostly I just want to be super toned like the models on your page! I don't know if I would ever be able to get THAT toned, but its definitely a goal to strive for. Anyway, good luck with your goals!

Hey, I saw your comment on someone else's page ... I know you want to lose more like 1 lb per week - just wanted to let you know I'm losing about 1 pound per 4 weeks.
So, if you're interested I'll share what I'm doing ... and what I WOULD be doing if I physically COULD, which would have me losing easily 1-2 lbs per week (3 when I was heavier).

yeah i did lose a pound a week since I started doing the shred, but I started right after Christmas, and I gained liek 3 lbs. after Christmas so I think losing the 3lbs that I gained was easy cause I just went back to my regular eating hapens and it happened. But the past two weeks I've been losing a lot and doing the shred consistently, I think it really helps a TON! have fun with it!

hey there. what i'm doing is just staying under 1550 calories each day. i'm also a vegetarian, so i don't eat many fried or fatty foods, which might help somehow, although i have to struggle to get enough protein in.
i work out sort of regularly, but i usually don't work out too intensely during the winter (i prefer to run outside when the weather permits). if anything, i'll take my dog for a walk, do some DDR (which is a great workout), maybe yoga or weights, or situps and pushups.
the only thing i really have to change in order to lose weight is just what i eat. in fact, i think that 1550 calories might be a bit too low for me, as the scale says that i've lost 4 pounds in the past week (not reflected by my ticker since i only weigh in once a week). but since this is the first week i've been back at SP in a while, maybe it's just a more dramatic loss than i will see from here on out.
i do walk a lot, usually a total of 30 minutes each day that i go to school (2-5 days per week). oh, i also cut out the booze for now, i overestimate any calories that i have to guess at, and i make it a daily challenge to get all my water in.
i promise that if you stick with it you will definitely lose weight. it just takes time and patience and consistency. if i can lose 10 pounds, anybody can, because i'm the biggest binge eater i know! (well, not anymore - and i'm determined to stay that way.)
