Starting Over...Again (Again)

5/20/11: I am no longer pregnant but have a loooong way to go before I get into a diet/exercise routine again. Here's hoping I can finally reach my goals and get/stay healthy for my little girl.

1/19/11: I am 6 months pregnant so a lot of things are off. I am currently 192lbs and blargh. Looking to get things under control as much as possible (can't really diet or lose weight but I will still try to eat better and workout more).

Update: So I am officially done with ...

Update: So I am officially done with nursing school. But I am still a girl in transition (looking for a job). However, this has given me the time to really focus on myself. Although I joined SP in October of 2009, I really feel that my start date was July 25, 2010. This was my day 1. Now I really hope to make some changes and look great doing it.

Hello. I am not a stranger to sparkpeople. I was able to go from 180lbs to 150lbs on sparkpeople a couple of years ago and then I lost the motivation and time once I started back to school. Stress causes me to not eat right and not exercise (I am trying to change that). Now I have decided that this will be the time that everything sticks and I lose the weight I want to lose. In my entire life I have never been below a size 10 (~145lbs). I hope that I can lose enough weight to make it to 135lbs and hopefully smaller clothes. For now I am just trying to get back on track with eating and hopefully I can add in a decent amount of exercise. Wish me luck!

My Goals:
Just want to eat better and get moving everyday.

Goals as of 5/20/11: To get down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 165 lbs,
To regain some sort of fitness in order to be healthy and energetic enough to care for a newborn.

My Program:
Program as of 5/20/11
Food: Trying to not go too crazy with eating everything in sight.

Exercise: Hoping to get in some walking and at least 30 minutes a day once I am healed from delivering Ava.

Personal Information:
Hi I am 26yo from Illinois. I am married and have a beautiful newborn daughter. I also have a crazy cat. I graduated from nursing school last year but currently all job plans are on hold. Looking to get through 2011 with health and happiness!

Other Information:
I love Dave Matthews Band and Nine Inch Nails. I miss running :-(. I love video games.

Glad to help...hope you get some help from the physical therapist too. Whatever you do, even though you are on bed rest, stand up at least every day & walk 5 steps(or crawl them if need be)--I tell you this b/c I just finished phys. therapy & I lost a lot of muscle due to not knowing to do that...little tiny daily movements are very important for your getting back in shape--they don't tell women on bed rest this---even just shrugging your shoulders, moving your head side to side, very small arm weights, etc-the physical therapist can probably give you some good tips if you tell her you're on bed rest...hope your entertainment is working for ya...you're getting closer to done!
