I work in the environmental sector. I love running, hiking, biking, geocaching and everything outdoors!

I had my daughter, Lilja on August 6, 2015.

In February 2014, I had an accident in Mexico, and broke my tibia, fibula, shattered my ankle, and dislocated my foot. I had a rod and 13 pins put in, and I am slowly recovering. This has hindered my exercise to say the least. I have taken up yoga, and now that I can walk, I am trying to do more of that as well. It is hard not being able to run anymore, but I am now open to trying to figure out what I can be doing.

I had my son Burke on June 3, 2012, and he loves being outdoors too.
I have done 3 triathlons, and 1 half marathon. I would like to do a marathon sometime too.

    PiYo is great for coming back from injuries. I'm trying to get my husband to do it to stretch out his legs after tearing his ACL. I'll hook him in one of these days.

    Shakeology is expensive. It took me 2 months of rolling it over in my head, but after hearing about the wonderful effects time and time again, I knew I had to try it. I signed up to be a coach so I could get the 25% discount. That helps a little. I wish they sold them individually so people could choose how many they wanted to buy based on their budget. My friend splits each serving with her husband 5 times a week, which helps make the pack last 6-8 weeks.

    That's so cool! I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that same experience. Did you just start PiYo? How did you hear about it? Did you buy it with the Shakeology, too?

    I just got back from a 4.5mile run. My hips didn't start bothering me until the last mile! Usually I feel them from the get go. It was amazing! I felt like I was floating. I can't wait to see what more changes occur during the PiYo challenge.

    Thanks for the comment on my blog. I commented at my blog site but also wanted to tell you that headaches are perhaps the most common detox symptoms. Many people take 2-3 weeks to ease into a fast. Caffeine withdrawal is one of the reasons people have such headaches.

    Perhaps try starting with a green juice every morning, then add more and more green juice to your day. Before I went on a fast, I had given up coffee for 3 years and had been mostly vegan for awhile. I also had done a year of green smoothies. Even with all that, I am sure I had headache and eye ache symptoms for days.
