Granny 's got the Spark.

I'm 58 and a grandmother. I want to be able to have energy to enjoy my grandchildren. Exercise makes me feel better but sometimes I lack the motivation. Sparkpeople is very helpful and fun. I enjoy the articles and everything that is offered on the site.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 15 pounds. Lately I'm doing very well. I hope restricting sugar and wheat will help with my joint pain. It has in the past. My energy gets better as well.

My Program:
I'm lifting wts. 2x a week. I do cardio at least 3x a week, and I try to work stretching in as much as I can.

I am doing very well on my calorie intake this week. I've joined a challenge to lose 13 in 2013. This is so motivating to me to lose the 13 before the end of the year. Also having others going along with me is fun. emoticon

Thank-you all for your comments. This site is really motivating for me. I'm glad to be getting new sp friends. I had a busy day today so didn't get to work out as much as I would have liked. I did some t-tapp and stretching and felt better in my aching joints. It amazes me how exercise helps.
