My Goals:
GOAL 1:
Down to 180 lbs before my 50th birthday

GOAL 2:
Go on a major hike this summer at Leavenworth.

GOAL 3:
Be down to a size 14.

My Program:
I am watching my calorie intake VERY closely. I put everything I eat on my list. Even if it is a couple if Good & Plenty's. I ask myself "is it going to be worth the calories I am putting in my mouth?" And once in a while I tell myself YES! But those times are getting farther and fewer in between.

Other Information:
I work on a blog about food dehydrating. www.throwaparty.blog.com. I am very proud of the things I have been working on, on that page.

emoticon emoticon emoticon Well, with fall in the air and the emoticon summer coming to an end. I know for myself it’s time to get back to indoor activities and allowing all of you to become my mentors again. I am not good at being an indoor person in the summer as my Garden, Canning and other activities keep me very busy.

So!! After September I plan to involve myself more on the Daily Chat message boards. There is no better support than what we all give each other to help us reach our goals.

"Take time to explore the site. Become familiar with all the wonderful tools available to help you on your journey, such as the food tracker and the exercise tracker. Also, concentrate on mastering your three 'Fast Break' goals: drinking 8 cups of water per day, going for a walk, not eating in front of the TV...whatever three goals you have chosen. Try to make those goals daily habits over time." I do hope to see more of you and you see more of me as we travel down this Journey of getting healthy and feeling better.
Remember MOTIVATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.

Melanie,
It was very nice to see you this summer. We usually drive through Tri-Cities on our vacation to the coast. We are going to add church into our vacation. So you will be seeing us at your ward every year. We miss the ward so much. I'm blessed though to have grown closer to my family since there are a lack of families our age- Also blessed to have a good friend here. I'm so thankful to have her as a close friend. She is Macia's sister. We started walking early mornings last week. We go Mon Wed and Fri.
