September 2012: Starting again: after going from 144 2 years ago, I am now at 156. Just trying to start exercising now 5x a week.

Walking to start.

Slowly changing diet.

Kelly, Thanks for joining 120-ville. Eleven months ago, I joined SP. I weighed 142 and wanted to lose 15 pounds by late summer. You can see that my goals then, and yours now, are about the same. I did it and YOU can do it! I was motivated by a significant birthday - 5-0 - that helped me keep my focus. Your goals are SO DO-ABLE! Call on me anytime you need a little encouragement.

Welcome to sparkpeople!!! Best of luck on your weight loss journey! :) Just stay focused and you will reach your goals soon enough. If you drink at least 8 cups of water, stay within your calories, stay active, and get involved with your teams, you will succeed. Also, I'm a leader of a few teams, hope join the teams.
