Hi Rainbow. I just read your comment on my Spark Page. Seems like it's been a while since you have written anything. I've been around but I have periods when I don't write much because I'm so busy with my job, my DH and my dogs. I am still working toward my personal goals and would like to shed about 10 more pounds, but I'm not breaking any records for speedy weight loss My biggest reason for the slow down is that I took a fall 2 years ago and landed on my back with my left arm under me. I broke my wrist and my hip twisted about one half turn counter clockwise . I used to hike 3-4 miles 4-5 times a week. Now, I can only walk for about 20-30 minutes and then my back, hip and leg start hurting really bad. I'm going to the chiropractor and am doing pretty well but I think I'll probably have to get that turned hip surgically corrected down the road. The bottom line is that I can't get nearly as much exercise a I used to and that really slows down the weight loss efforts. It's okay though because I'm not really in a big rush to get there because I'm pretty comfortable where I am. I hope you keep active with Spark People so you can get your BP and cholesterol where it should be. Stay in touch and let me know how you are doing I honestly think reaching our health goals is the most important thing. Keep Sparking!
