Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
So... many moons ago, ok in 2011, I lost about 50 pounds. I started at about 180, and I ended at about 125-130 (depends on the day, as this fluctuates a bit). Currently I sit somewhere in the 135 range, which is mostly OK, but is a little bit over where I prefer. I can tell the difference in how I feel at 130 vs 135, and I'm unhappy with how my body feels at 135, so I find myself getting back to tracking my meals since that is what works for me. I never had success with fad diets or pills. What works is counting the calories and doing the work. I am consistent with working out, that's never really been a problem. In fact, there's been times where perhaps working out became something of an obsession, and I've backed that down to a once daily activity (not counting a short walk with the dogs in the mornings), and I'm OK with that. But in general, I'm mostly maintaining my healthy weight. I wouldn't get scolded at the doctor's office at this weight (that has happened before!), but I just know how my body feels at the "right" weight, and this isn't it! So... here's to scraping those 5 pounds back off and putting some focus and intentionality back into my food choices!
1: Meet my calorie goals every day
2: Veggies EVERY DAY
3: Fruits EVERY DAY
4: Cardio 5x/week, Strength Training 2-3x/week (minimum)
5: Enough water DAILY
6: Check in at SP Daily
Cardio 5x week.
Strength Training 2-3x week.
I may be Jillian Michaels' biggest fan.
I highly recommend her workouts, and they were my main exercises for the bulk of my weight-loss endeavors.
I am a RUNNER.
I am also a TRIATHLETE!!
I am learning to love new fruits and veggies!

Thank you for the encouragement!!! You have a great point, I should be looking at measurements as well. I don't know why I always expect to lose so much so fast (very unrealistic and crazy hehe).
You look great!! And keep up the great work!!

I remember way back when, during one of my many "restarts" you were having a really tough time with your goals and getting frustrated. I'm really impressed that you've made it! You're an inspiration to me.

Thanks for commenting on my blog: The blog that EVERYONE thinks about writing, but not everyone does.
I really needed to see those images of myself to realize how bad it has gotten. Luckily for me, I opened my eyes and saw the images... and kicked myself in the pants!
Thank you again for your support. I appreciate it!
