Transformational Healing Journey

A mother of four and a wife. Some of my favorite hobby's I enjoy include walking, writing, and cake decorating among several others. After struggling with my weight. A little over a year ago I found out i had an eating disorder. I began working with a nutritionist to build a healthier relationship with and toward food. I have also gathered information from NEDA. I have also read Body Clutter ~Marla Cilley.

I am working with a nutritionist, journal food/eating daily, I work out at the gym three days a week mostly elliptical also some free weights, and I walk daily.

Thank you so very much for reading and commenting on my blog, Loving Yourself: My Body Pledge of Allegiance, and for signing on by leaving a comment, and taking the pledge to be your own champion!

I feel more strongly than ever that this is indeed the first hurdle we must conquer. Because of all the positive feedback I have received during this series from those who have been reading and following, I am going to continue with helping not only myself, but those who have committed via this pledge made to themselves to do that with more blogs on this topic. I am confident that we can move forward from here. This was the first step off the starting line. Let's move forward together! I do hope you will stop by to read and to follow the Loving Yourself bogs as the series continues.

Many fellow Spark Friends have already committed to and taken the Body Pledge of Allegiance, and more are joining each day. These small actions can make a big difference. It is about coming together and offering our strength to one another. Together we are uniting our conviction, and echoing the voices of ourselves, and for women and girls everywhere to love ourselves as we are, no matter where we are. It is the energy of the this conviction and the movement that will propel us all forward into becoming who we wish to truly be, and ultimately, to achieving all that we are striving to achieve, not only here, but in our lives.

I don't mind if you print it and share it - that's why it's there - to share, in the hope that others will find it helpful to them. I am thankful that so many are spreading the word on Spark People to their Spark friends. It is my version of many I saw on the internet, so please don't give me credit. I hope that you, and anyone else you choose to share it with will feel free to adapt it, just as I did, as you need to for your own personal growth.

Hi and welcome. So glad you are here to make a change! Get familiar with everything and join some teams. Teams are good for motivation, support and accountability. You should look for a team with your eating disorder, that may help you, you just type in the disorder you have into the team search bar. Good luck on your journey
