    Good for you for getting the 10 minute workout in!! I did the elliptical at the Y for 30 minutes today (3rd day in a row) but it's starting to catch up with me. Today I was WIPED OUT when I got home, and achy, too.

    A rice cooker is a GREAT investment, and they're really cheap, you only need a little bitty one because they make way more rice than a normal family will eat in one sitting.

    We get medium grain brown rice from the local World Market - buy a big old 20 lb bag about once a year - but it's very nice and flavorful on it's own. Jon, my hubby, started putting in a packet of taco seasoning with the water sometimes and it comes out really tasty, sort of like spanish rice. Yummy! The kids like it alot, too.

    If you have leftover rice you can make a stirfry with chicken and whatever veggies you have in the fridge, that's great, too. :)

    That was quite an adventure just trying to get your weight! Hope the new scale is more consistent - just stay off the carpet. :)

    Hiya!!

    Yeah, I'm a morning person. This was my last day off before heading back to work and I had things to do later, so figured I'd go early. :) Did 30 minutes on the elliptical/stairclimber thingie from hell (ouch!).

    Hmmm, dinner for everyone... a big hit at our house is baked chicken breasts and brown rice (we have a little $10 rice cooker that is absolutely WONDERFUL!!!) my boys all love brocolli so we usually make that, too. :)

    Hope you got your video workout in, I still need to do that!
