I am a mother of two beautiful little girls and I am married to a wonderful man. I want to be able to go for walks and play with my girls with out having to sit down to catch my breath. I am doing this for my family.

Hey Lady! I left you a comment two weeks ago but it looks like it didn't take!

I'm hanging in there, kind of lost motivation the last couple of weeks (the whole family had the flu - ugh!) but I'm back at it this week.

I'm going to have to restart Bootcamp, because I absolutely could not keep up with it while I was sick. Here's what I'm doing now though...

Monday-Wednesday-Friday I'm doing a couch to 10K jogging program - so that's 30-40 minutes of cardio walking/jogging

Tues-Thurs-Sat I do 20 minutes on the elliptical to warm up then do weight training (upper body on Tues/core on Thur/lower body on Sat).

Sunday was going to be my rest day - but apparently I can't have one of those because I go crazy and don't log on to Spark people and I eat too much! So I guess I'm going to have to see what Sunday classes the YMCA has- maybe yoga.... I could use the stretching. :)

How are you doing?

Hi there! I was away from the computer over the weekend and just saw your post - I hope everyone is well today!!

I got lots of cardio in on Saturday - 90 minutes of roller skating at my nephew's party - went GREAT until two kids crashed in front of me and I went down hard trying to avoid them. LOL - my right knee and elbow are black and blue messes - so I took yesterday as a rest day - but I'm going to hit the elliptical today!

Keep on moving!

Hey Lady, how'd it go today? Did you work out?

I think I overdid it, my abs cramped up horribly after doing cardio followed by crunches.... it was like a charlie horse in my stomach.... SO not fun. I was too freaked out to try the 10 minute toning video tonight LOL - and I'm thinking I'm going to be VERY sore tomorrow. Guess time will tell. :)

Oh my goodness, you're a baby! :) I remember 21, and I can't imagine having kids at that age, LOL, I was WAY too wild of a child. Kudos to you for starting your family early! I waited WAY late. Haha.

Awww, two little girls? Love it!! I have three little boys (7 year old twins and a six year old who came along just 14 months later). So it's kind of like triplets. After Joey was born I told the hubby we could wait a year and try again for a girl, and he threatened to move to Mexico if I didn't let him get snipped. LOL

My husband is a stay at home dad, he's superman in my humble opinion. I work full time as an IT Project Manager and Business Analyst and I love my job, too. We also aren't fans of potty training and had nothing but HORRIBLE luck with it. Jonny & Will weren't potty trained fully until the summer before they started Kindergarten... and Joey STILL isn't (but he has autism, so that's another story).

I didn't want to, but I DID go to the gym over lunch and I'm glad I did. It always feels good to have done it. You should definitely join your Rec Center, having a pool available all year round is wonderful.

Hope you get some good workouts today, too. Was the new scale kind to you?
