Time to Change

I lost my gallbladder a couple of years ago and the weight just piled on. Before I could eat and had a fairly active lifestyle, so my weight never changed. That all changed with surgery and one less organ to help me digest foods.
I have peaked around 150-155 pounds and now have so many stretchmarks I'm embarrassed and have become socially awkward around people who had the body I used to have.

Fitness Minutes: 175

My Goals:
1.) Stop drinking soda.
2.) Drink more water.
3.) Exercise for at least 15-30 minutes a day (cycling).
4.) Be more cautious about what I eat.
5.) Get more rest and sleep regular hours.

My Program:
1.) Slowing weaning off the soda by keeping track of how many I drink a day (thank you dry erase board on my fridge!).
2.) Track how many glasses of water I drink a day (goal is 8). Hopefully this will decrease my urge to drink soda.
3.) Use the stationary resistance bike my hubby bought for me months ago for daily exercise.
4.) Track calories as best as I can.
5.) Set up a bed time and actually wake up when my alarm goes off.

Thanks!! I'm going to try and hit the gym today. I told myself I had to get some of my homework done first tho...

But I did make it to the grocery store and bought lots of "good stuffs" so I feel like I'm starting to get somewhere.

I really appreciate the advice that you gave me on my blog (vlog? I'm not sure what it's supposed to be)

It made a lot of sense to me - I just think I need to have a tougher skin when it comes to the boyfriend. I'm so used to having a tight schedule of "work-school-homework-boyfriend" that he might just have to learn how to suffer, instead of making my health suffer.

I do have the UNT rec center, but it really terrifies me. Big building, lots of gym rats, scrawny freshmen who haven't put on the "freshman 15" and people who look like they know what they're doing. When I go I just feel lost and like I don't know what I'm doing.

Ahh sorry for rambling, I'll get back at you later. But thanks!!
