Hi, I am Rachael and I live in Texas. I have been over weight all my life. And, well, I am tired of it. I want to be healthier and more in shape.

The bottom line for me and I think for most people is that I want to be myself. . . but better. So I am working toward become a better version of myself. And one of the steps to getting there is being comfortable in the skin that contains me.

"But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified." 1 Corinthians 9:27

My Goals:
My overall goal is to get down to 150. I have had some set backs along the way, and I am not yet prepared to give the time frame for when I think I will reach that goal.

Shorter term goals are:
-to lose an average of a pound a week
-drink at least 8 cups of water a day
-develop a regular work out routine that I am able to stick to in which I work out at least 3 times a week.

    Moving STINKS. And going back to school to get your masters....thats AWESOME, I'm so proud of you!!! You *do* have a lot going on.
    I've been stuck on a plateau, also. I've got TONS going on ....but I'm working really hard right now to break through it and see some changes on that scale. You have a super wonderful day and make sure that every morsel and every movement counts!!!!! emoticon
