When I started this, I was in law school. I'm now a full year out of law school, and technically an attorney now (I have the license, I just don't practice at the moment).
I've been trying, and doing FAIRLY well, for the last 10 months to really make exercise a part of my life. This summer is fell to pieces when we lost my uncle, unexpectedly and painfully, to cancer (he was very healthy and fit before he got it and it ravaged him in just 72 days).
I need to make changes for the long-haul, I'm at risk for just about everything. I've been overweight my whole life, and it has held me back from doing things in the past. I don't want it to hold me back in the future.
140 lbs - right in the middle of my "healthy range" for my height.
22-23 BMI. 20-22% body fat. Goal timeframes below.
Fiber within range. Carbs on lower side of range. Calories on lower end of range. Protein in middle range, despite taking in little meat.
Make this year just about me and what I want to do.
Goals - 10% of weight Starting November 3rd, 2010 (one goal met):
234 by January 18, 2010
- trip to New Orleans in January
210 by Feb 28, 2011 - new clothes
170 by May 28th, 2011
- TBD (**I'm in a wedding this weekend)
155 by July 15th, 2011
140 by Sept 26th, 2011
- Fevercon trip (6 days)
- I'm counting this as my final goal, with the following as a possibly change
Track calories daily.
Concentrate on how good I feel when I have worked out/eaten well, and how icky I feel when I have a really bad day of eating.

I love to travel, read, sing, and write. Not necessarily in that order. I could literally read all day and not have to break for food or water, and I love to write which I think exercising more will help with for concentration. I also sing just about everywhere, and I have finally gone back to taking voice lessons, which I greatly enjoy.

Hey there, replying from the comment you left on my blog.
With the diet, you can loose over 1lb a day. You will not be hungry as much if you take the injections. I lost just over 20lbs since the 5th of Jan. Injections will make you loose weight faster, but the drops are less expensive.
With this diet, you cannot have sweets or anything, or it will set your weightloss back a few days. I know, because I cheated at first, and I would have lost more, if I hadn't.
