Glad You Stopped By!

4/29/2008 The day I began my SP journey

Lost 75 pounds the first 3 years, then hit a wall-menopause!

Gained 20 pounds back & tried for 2 years to lose it-NOTHING!
But I didn't give up, came close many times, but the advantages of losing 75 lbs stayed in my mind, and I wanted that good feeling back!!

And now, 6 years after starting my journey, I am finally getting that feeling back!! The scale is moving the right way again, and I am feeling good ...

But I didn't give up, came close many times, but the advantages of losing 75 lbs stayed in my mind, and I wanted that good feeling back!!

And now, 6 years after starting my journey, I am finally getting that feeling back!! The scale is moving the right way again, and I am feeling good about ME!

I am so proud I didn't give up! I started going to the gym, something I never thought I'd do! But, since finding SP, there's been several things I never thought I'd experience. One biggie was the first time I stepped onto a tennis court, wow, that feeling was awesome!! Me, at 270+ pounds, but I got up the courage to try!

Another, being able to pushmow the grass more than a few minutes without being short of breath and legs hurting. Now I love mowing, and can go for hours!

And, my latest surprise has been at the gym-I have found a new exercise I love-the row machine! I was very hesitant to try it, worried about what others would think, what I looked like, etc., but now, I dont care about that. I enjoy it and it is helping me reach my goals!!

My weight is on its way back down, but my confidence and health are on the rise!!

Hey so I'm just now getting caught up. Saw your comment regarding green tea from awhile back. Thanks for that. I basically have just started drinking lots of all kinds of tea lately and find that for most I have no problem drinking them unsweetened.
