Rachael's Journey Again...

My name is Rachael and I am 31 years old.
Spark has changed my life for the better. In 2008 I lost 30lbs and got down to my all time low of 129lbs. Then I got pregnant in 2009. Which is a blessing but it also involves putting some weight back on. Now it's 2014 and I'm trying to lose 40lbs.

Spark has changed my life for the better. In 2008 I lost 30lbs and got down to my all time low of 129lbs. Then I got pregnant in 2009. Which is a blessing but it also involves putting some weight back on. Now it's 2014 and I'm trying to lose 40lbs.
Ever since I've moved back to the mainland I've put on so much weight. I'm at my all time heaviest weight ever and I really feel gross. I'm uncomfortable in my own skin and I need to get the weight off. Spark has worked for me in the past and I want to commit to using Spark again to help me lose this extra weight and live a healthier lifestyle. I'm also trying to balance work life better as I work full time as a teacher.

I had a light bulb moment when I was on vacation and my husband took a picture of me. I didn't even recognize myself and I was so sad when I saw that picture. I didn't realize how out of hand I had gotten. It was definitely a reality check. I think that was the motivation I needed to get back on track with Spark.

Just saw your update! Great job!! I think a Summer challenge would be awesome for GND team! I would definitely join in. I know I won't be losing weight, but at least keep my eating and exercising accountable, which is the main thing anyway, right? lol

It's so hard not to give into the cravings, but I've noticed that I feel so much worse when I do over-eat junky food. It's not always easy to remember that when you are really wanting something, though!

Good Luck with your weight loss goal. You've definitely done it before and I know you can do it again. You have always been a huge inspiration for me!

I am pregnant! We're sooooo excited. We had tried for 3 years with no luck and were actually starting the adoption process when we got a positive test! Amazing....so needless to say I've been off the spark-wagon for a couple of months. I'm finally feeling better/not so exhausted. I'm starting to track my food and working out again. After 2+ months of just doing whatever made me feel better.
I'd love to get the GND team going again and have some fun challenges!
How have you been?
