Rachael's Journey Again...

My name is Rachael and I am 31 years old.
Spark has changed my life for the better. In 2008 I lost 30lbs and got down to my all time low of 129lbs. Then I got pregnant in 2009. Which is a blessing but it also involves putting some weight back on. Now it's 2014 and I'm trying to lose 40lbs.

Spark has changed my life for the better. In 2008 I lost 30lbs and got down to my all time low of 129lbs. Then I got pregnant in 2009. Which is a blessing but it also involves putting some weight back on. Now it's 2014 and I'm trying to lose 40lbs.
Ever since I've moved back to the mainland I've put on so much weight. I'm at my all time heaviest weight ever and I really feel gross. I'm uncomfortable in my own skin and I need to get the weight off. Spark has worked for me in the past and I want to commit to using Spark again to help me lose this extra weight and live a healthier lifestyle. I'm also trying to balance work life better as I work full time as a teacher.

I had a light bulb moment when I was on vacation and my husband took a picture of me. I didn't even recognize myself and I was so sad when I saw that picture. I didn't realize how out of hand I had gotten. It was definitely a reality check. I think that was the motivation I needed to get back on track with Spark.

I'm literally lol-ing at the "doing it, again". Ugh...hopefully it sticks this time! I have a treadmill now, too. So I definitely don't have any excuses, either. Today is a running day for me...now that I put it on here that means I better do it!

I just saw your reply to my comment...geez. That kinda sums it up. My life has been nuts recently! I'm finishing school this term, being a mommy to Brecken (which is the best thing ever!) and trying to workout and lose the rest of the "baby" weight. Does it count as baby weight after he's one? I think so. Once I'm done with school I have to study my butt off to take a practical board exam to get my massage license. After that I'm ready to start working!!
How do you like your job? You're still in Hawaii, right?

Welcome back! Glad you are back on sparkpeople.

Yes, I'm stay active on here. I started a new job so I haven't been able to write back to you sooner. I have been maintaining. I'm planning to start a new workout plan on Monday.

How are you doing?
