It's hard to know where to start when you're describing yourself.
I was born and raised in Oklahoma, but right now I'm living in Scotland. I spent my childhood and adolescence training as a classical musician, then became a pilot before settling on computer science as a degree path. I finished my degree in computer science last year, and immediately began a ridiculously rigorous Master's course called Design Ethnography.
But really, secretly, I'm a writer and a storyteller.
I feel that I haven't stopped moving or working since I was eight, and possibly before then. Sixteen years on, the complete lack of balance in my life is evident. I have never learned how to live a normal, healthy lifestyle. I did everything--and was good at all of it, damn it. This has produced pretty good work, perhaps, but always at the expense of my health.
Now, I am existentially tired. I am ready to live a slower, more pleasant, healthier life.
I am ready to sleep enough, eat food that my body will thrive on, and exercise so that I can really enjoy everything the world has to offer.

I have developed what I can "technical"writing skills over the years. As long as one has some basic good grammar (was that grammatical?) improvement does happen.
I write reports, evaluation results, certification applications, etc., etc.

If not, take a look. It may lift your spirits when there is altogether too much POSITIVITY on this site.

Hi Rachel. I am actually on okcupid and I have been on there for over 2 years. Of all the dating sites I have ever been on it is definitely my favorite. But I still have not met my match and I saw the geek 2 geek advertisement and it really got me to thinking. I went ahead and created a profile there but it takes 24 hours for your profile to be approved and so until my profile goes active I will have no idea if I will get any hits or not. It will be interesting to see. Thank you so much for offering to help me on Geometry. I really might take you up on the offer. It is hard to try and tutor someone over chat but if there is something I don't understand and the girl today is unable to explain it to me I might take you up on your offer. I am sorry to hear about your cryptographic theory exams. I have no idea what it is but just the sound of it makes me want to break out in hives! Next smeester I have ot take Math Modeling which is sure to be a beast for me also but I think it will be alot easier for me to grasp than Geometry. This is the hardest class I have EVER taken!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! A pinata is *exactly* what I needed, and you brought some necessary levity to an otherwise awful evening. Several years ago, I heard about a growing trend of places in Tokyo where you could pay to go into a room and break things. I have no idea why such an idea hasn't been capitalized upon stateside, but someone really needs to take advantage of this opportunity! Anyway, thanks again. And best of luck with the thesis writing!

I saw your introduction to the Spark Triathlon Club, and am hoping that you've moved past the internet induced terror of your triathlon. I ran in my first tri one month ago today, and it was fantastic. Just set some solid goals for you, have fun, and go for it! My goal was to finish the race, which is a great place to start. I'm sure you'll rock it!!
