Healthy and Happy!

I've worked out regularly since I was about 14, and dancing school before that. Now my focus is yoga 3-4x week and 3 mile run 1-2x / week.

I work in front of a computer all day, so I workout at 8am, just after taking the kids to school, and try to be at work by 10:30.

My family switched to an all natural diet a couple years ago (well, all natural + pizza). I pay close attention to remembering whole foods that grew from the ground. However, I am a die-hard chocoholic ...

I have 2 teen daughters and I'm trying to teach them about proper nutrition while focusing on overall health, not body image. The older one is a distance runner and the younger daughter loves soccer.

Noticed you "liked" my friend feed - thanks! When I popped over here to your page I saw your status - Good Luck this weekend! I'll be running Ragnar Vegas at the same time emoticon

Del Sol, huh? I'm doing Ragnar Florida Keys... might be too soon for another one... but I'm totally addicted to them LOL. Did SoCal, and Napa this year, and now Vegas and FK. Let's talk more after this weekend, I might be interested in joining you in AZ!

I did, completed it a few months ago! Congrats to you! It was hard, for sure! Took me two attempts to do the 100.

Congrats on your green belt testing! Our son (working towards 2nd degree black belt after 8 yrs at martial arts) is doing Kuk Sool Won. It is a korean style martial arts. Actually, our location just started Mu Sool Won as our master (Lee) was the son-in-law of the Grand Master and they had a falling out due to the father-in-law wanting to charge a $25K francise fee to all KSW locations around the world. Our master didn't fee it was right to charge out of the blue for locations that have been in business for 25+yrs. So...we branched off.

So glad you are doing something fun for exercise. I got to yellow belt (one step up from newbie), but then started to marathon run. I'm glad our son has stuck with it. Going 3 days a week is hard on our schedule, but it is worth it.

GREAT JOB!

Hey lovely one! The interview went great. Thanks so much for checking on me. I just sent a proposal for over $700 to do the room (3 walls and TONS of detail). Looks like it will be about 4 full-time days worth of painting. At $5.75/sqft, they are getting an incredible deal. Let's see if they think so too. Most muralists start @ $20/sqft! I wanted to bid low for my first few murals until I get more exposure/experience. I'll post their response when I hear it. Thank you so much for checking on me. You made me feel special! :D
