Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I'm glad you like the quilts; that's high praise from another hand quilter. Right now I have a 120" x 120" double Irish chain in my frame. I don't even want to think how long that one will take
I am also working on a quilt-as-you-go reversible; that's a new experience for me. I am enjoying it, though.
I hope to have them both finished in time for our guild quilt show in September but I'm not sure - summer/riding time is rapidly approaching ... I hope!!!
You're right - the stable owner's accident is a reminder to never take safety for granted. Some folks laugh at me - but - the first thing I do when I get out of my car (at the stable) is put on my helmet; and heading home ... removing it is the last. 99% of horses would never hurt a human on purpose but they're big and even the quietest one can get stupid when frightened or hurt.
I don't spend much time on SP these days; there always seems to be something pulling me away from the 'puter but I did want to thank you for touching base.
Don't forget to post pics when your log cabin variation is finished. I love that block - it's so versatile. 936 days ago
