My Goals:
Would like to be able to get into an elevator without the alarm going off. :) Seriously since I quit smoking 25+ years ago my weight skyrocketed. Hit 311 at the beginning of 2007, lost 91 to get to 220. Hurt my ankle playing tennis and by the time that finally healed I was up to 271.

Goal #1 is to get back to 220. Not really setting a time limit,.

Once I hit 220 would like to get myself to 194, which would put me below 25 BMI. haven't been 194 since I was discharged from the Army.

My Program:
Vegetarian diet.
Limiting Sodium and cholesterol
Try to follow the nutrition goals for protein, fat, carbs, et.al

Try to use the bus when I can to get my walking in. Also use wii fit and play some tennis.

Current target is 60 minutes per day of exercise activity.


Personal Information:
Live in Monroe WA, and work in Mercer Island as an HR Director.

Volunteer at an animal rescue organization.

Other Information:
Be kind to animals. We may be at the top of the food chain, but we need to be responsible in the treatment of animals and other life we share on this planet.

The need for meat and eggs shouldn't rely on battery cages and gestation crates. The need for seafood shouldn't rely on overfishing and "research . "

We need to be responsible with what we have before we lose it all.
