2010 Goals:

1. Run at least two half marathons, a 10K, and several 5Ks over the year. Get a PR in each distance at least once during the year.
2. Get my weight down below 140 lbs. and keep it below that once I get there.
3. Strength train at least 2X per week and do a cardio workout at least 4X per week most weeks of the year.
4. Take swimming lessons.
5. Pick a mini-triathalon in 2011 and start training for it.
6. Put together a plan for the career change I want to make in 2011.
7. Get and keep my entire house clean enough for company at any time.
8. Cook dinner at least 3 times per week. (Pathetic, I know! But I rarely cook!)

My Goals:
1. Run a 4 half marathons per year.
2. Boost my cardio to at least 4 days per week.
3. Solidify a habit of strengh training 2x to 3x per week.
4. Get down to 140 pounds!

My Program:
I'm using the nutrition tracker, the fitness tracker, and the teams, and I'm loving it. It's definitely a time commitment, but this site is what I needed to really be ready to do this.

I love dogs and all other animals, too. I also like knitting, reading, walking, and hanging out with family and friends.

    I'd love to know how you felt the first few days after doing the marathon. Were you incredibly sore? Was it hard to get on a plane to get back home?

    I enjoy running simply for the calorie burn. And, I like saying, "I am a runner." I'm just not interested in long distances or improving my PR. Having said that...I am envious of the bond that is forming between all of you. I would love to be a part of something like that. There is a direct flight to Miami from P'cola, but I don't think I could be ready...my cardio has fizzled lately. I'm making a new start this weekend.
