I have been somewhere between 250 and 270 lbs for ten years or more. It has always sucked! I like to think of myself as an active person, but the reality is that I'm not as active as I used to be. What is currently motivating me is losing weight to increase my chances at a successful VBAC with my next pregnancy, which will hopefully be around August. I would like to start my next pregnancy at 200 lbs.
I used to love backpacking, and I'd like to be in shape again so that I can enjoy it ...

Also, I had to lie to get on to sparkpeople; I am currently breastfeeding, which is why my caloric intake is higher than one would expect.

My Program:
Right now I am doing Couch to 5K. I am also doing a modified version of Slimfast Optima, since I'm breastfeeding. I find that I am not in the place to handle making food choices during the day, and the shakes make my decisions a lot easier.

no problem. This is a hard journey but it is one I am prepared to complete! I hope thta you can figure out what will work best for you. I pretty much eat the same things everyday during the day and different things at dinner. this helps me with my calorie counting. Anytime you nee anything let me know...this website is grest for support! good luck!

Hey There! Thanks for the reply on my spark page! I just wanted to tell you - DON'T EVER feel the need to apologize for how long you nurse your babies!!! I nursed my oldest til he was 2 and the youngest was a bit over 3!! (yes, really, go figure....but I let both of them wean themselves). It was one of those things I just said I am not going to look back and have regrets over...wishing I'd done this or that....so I did what I, and my babies, wanted. Way to go to you!
