I joined sparks People in January 2007. I want to be thin again and healthier. Being very thin and very heavy runs in my family. My Mom weighs 110 pds -my aunt weighs 300+ pds. I tend to pack on the pounds. I make a promise to my self when I lie in bed at night to eat smaller portions and exercise. When I get up I argue with myself and I don't exercise or control my portions. I can't seem to get my head in the game-

My Goals:
To get my weight back down to between 135-150 pds so I will have more energy and my back and legs won't hurt.

My Program:
Basically I've learned to eat healthier over the past couple years-I am trying to learn portion control and stop emotional eating- and adjust how I handle social events which seem to focus on food & alcohol.

The upcoming Mother's Day provides a perfect opportunity to the women in my life. Have you ever noticed that women take care of others before they care for themselves? I am sure that this has something to do with biological functions, probably ingrained into our caring behaviors as children, but you need not have had a child to be a caring and loving woman and thus 'mothers others!'

Therefore, I wanted to express my appreciation for you in my life. Thank you for being you!

So often I meet women who say I am just a homemaaker. Wow, this is a full time job in itself. Then I meet women who work one or two full time jobs, one being a homemaker as well. It amazes me to see so many women who raise a family, cook, clean and provide a shoulder to lean on...you are all SUPERWOMEN!! So I want to remind you to love how special you are to those around you. You are fantastic that you are balancing and juggling so many things at the same time. You are powerful and strong, you can become whatever you want, and you can say it with conviction! Thank you for being you!

hi , i wan to encourage you , to take controll of your life , do this for your self , imagine you are climbing a high mountain , never look back , pull hard and at the end of the road there is a bright light ready to make you look great , feel great and alot more healthyer , learn to say no to thoes cravings , drink water , go for a walk , get out of the kitchen ,,,, anything , untill you adjust to what you can eat, then reward yourself along the way , good luck , if you need any help just let me know i can give you some tips , bye , from maria
