Working it out as I go along

My overall goal is to organise my life. I have a lot of difficulty with being organised, so I joined this site to help with this.

Becoming healthy is just one aspect of my life I want to organise. I don't want to become obsessed with health, because for me it's really a means to an end - the healthier I feel, the more energy I have, the more alert I feel, and the better able I am to accomplish things I enjoy doing and which are meaningful to me.

I've been a student for the past few years - 'mature student', in my 30s - and in this time I've gained quite a bit of weight (about 20 lb) which I find uncomfortable. Even though I'm not, strictly-speaking, overweight, I'm at a weight that is uncomfortable for my body, and so I would like to lose some weight. Well, I would like to lose that 20 lb, and be the weight I used to be, which was a comfortable weight for me. So that is my weight goal.
