Today is March 18, 2014 and here I am again. My motto is Live, Laugh, Love, I have added a word today and it's REFOCUS. That is what I am telling myself. I have achieved many goals (fitness related) that I have set for myself. This journey to be healthy is just that.....a journey. No one said it would be easy, or you wouldn't fall down or run into any kind of set backs. The thing to remember is who your taking this journey for (yourself, better examples for child/children, help your spouse become more healthy, longevity etc), what is your motivation? Once you fall, you can get back up. It may take sometime but you can do it. Just keep pushing, believing in yourself and the reasons you are taking this journey. That's what I'm telling myself as well. I'm ready to get back up and start this journey again.

I have been a spark member for while now. Last year I decided to get up and loose some weight and possibly compete. I did an excellent job, I must say; however, after the summer time came and gone (the usual routine) I fell off again (bummer). I decided this year on Feb 28th to step up to the plate again and take control of my weight loss. My husband and I got together and set up a workout routine that kept me from hitting a platue andhelped me reach my goal. I set out this year with a few goals: 1) Loose the weight slowly (.5 -1.5 lb a wk), 2) Be consistent, 3) Push myself 4) Try new things (changing workout routines every 4 weeks) 5) Don't platue 6) No diets but lifestyle changes 7) Create a healthier me! I am happy to say that all 7 of those goals has been achieved! It wasn't easy but it had to be done lol. On June 27 th I updated my page with this:

Today I'm at 130.5 lbs, 5.5lbs to go until I reach that 125 mark. Workout routine:
Wk 1: Eating healthier
Wk 2: Eating healthier
Wk 3 - wk 5 : eating healthier; 30 -45 min cardio only
Wk 6 -wk 10: eating healthier; Different 45-60 min class everyday
Wk 11 -wk 13: eating healthier, 30 min cardio, 20 min superset, 20 min cardio
Wk 14: VACATION
Wk 15-16: light cardio

On July 23 rd (wk21) I hit 126.5. I decided then that I wasn't really concerend about the 1.5 lbsI had left to loose. I had made great progress and was very satisfied with it. My body fat was down to 21% (according to sp never checked on my own), dropped from a size 6 (maybe an 8 b/c the 6's had busted but I refused to buy a bigger size) to a size 2, able to move around a lot better and improved my blood pressure (not bad at first but...) and felt more comfortable in the nude around my husband lol (women know how self-concious we can feel when things are hanging over and jiggling. Even if it's not much). I was also ready to start my muscle building phase. So here I am at Wk23 (Aug 3) starting my 6th consistent month of creating a new me (old profile pic) and going into the enjoying the new me! My weight is expected to go up because of the muscle gain but I'll still be lean and that's what I want!

3. Get up and get moving
4. Be consistent
5.Clean up my diet
6. Relax

As a goal is achieved I will add another goal in it's place.
