Hey everyone -- I'm Paula and I'm just like most of you on Sparkpeople: looking for ways to challenge myself, make improvements, set goals, and accomplish dreams.

I'm a believer in the idea that the ability to do anything our heart desires lies within us. If we want it badly enough, any challenge can be met, any dream fulfilled.

* To reach a healthy weight through sensible eating and regular exercise.

* To get organized in my personal and professional life.

* Run a 10K in 2012.

My Program:
I'm following the Ideal Protein protocol.

Work up to 60 minutes of cardio exercise 5-6 days a week.

No Soda or Fast Food.

Daily tracking on SP.

Personal Information:
I'm just a woman with a wonderful family, a fulfilling career, and super friends that wants to fix the one thing that keeps holding me back...my weight. Getting this monkey off my back will be very liberating and life-affirming.

Thank you so much for the comment on my blog! I know I'll relax once I get there. It's all the anxiety leading up to the event the freaks me out. Which is probably why it was good that this was a last minute decision! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Aww thank you for your sweet comment! I can definitely tell you that if I can do the c25k program, so can you. I seriously put the "couch" in couch to 5k haha! And it is an amazing feeling each time you complete a day in the program. I am actually starting to feel like a runner! Good luck and I'm here for anything you need, advice, encouragement, venting! You can do it!
