My name is Leila. I am forty... I am getting my second wind. I am working on turning my lifestyle around with sounder food and exercise choices. That is going to be hard to do, but I want to be in shape, slimmer, and much more healthy by getting less dependent on meds...I want to be more friendly and be a sower of hope, love, and peace...Leila

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about.
When he might have won if he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick with the fight when you are hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

To be in Love~Would be the most~Beautiful of violets blue~
Only if it is with you~What would make~ the wait worthwhile~
Besides receiving your warm smile~With Love shining through~
Is, if you were to feel the same way, too~But, I realize my soul my heart may penalize~not knowing how long that wait will be~
But there is~ a glimpse~Of hope sparked~ In my heart~ when I catch your glance~I come out of my trance~To wonder~What you're thinking~What flows through your mind~At that inkling~Do you have similiar feelings~I wouldn't dare~To share~Or express outloud~But just to remain~A fond thought refrained~To hope with anticipation~AmI?~Never to exceed beyond~ This mute, unconfronted, unconfided agony.~GOD, I surely hope not.~Someday, I pray~I'll have you for everyday....
~~~In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN!!!
I pray I do not end up gaining back the weight this time. I pray I can maintain and lose weight from this point on. I pray all are doing well in all areas in all's life. God Bless you all. It has been hot here for the past few days, only to have a break today with the delta breeze coming through nice and cool. I have been riding my bike around town and walking here and there. I have been noticing the weight loss. I am very excited. I can lose weight and still be quiting. I am very surprised and happy.
It will help him, but he might as well stay civilian. I think AF is a good choice. If I had had it to do over, I would have taken the job of F-14(?) mechainic crew chief, but my dad said I had already choosen the Army, so I stayed with the first decision.
If your son will be certified mechainic when he gets out of highschool or starting apprenticeship, I would try to make it in the civilian world. But, knowing the economy, it might be wise to go in the AF because, he needs exprience and a good foundation in respect for authority. I hope he won't see war, but it does happen. Good luck and God bless. Leila
