Puppy Mamma's Journey To Health

Well, I'm back! I had a few years off and now I'm back and getting healthy. I have my ups and downs but this time I KNOW I'm gonna make it. Why you ask? Because my current journey is about saving my life! Currently I've lost about 70 pounds. It's almost surreal being so close to 300 pounds. I can I haven't weighed under 300 in almost ten years.

With the support of my Spark Friends, family, FB friends and TOPS sisters and brothers, I KNOW I can do this! The certainty I feel wanes ...

With the support of my Spark Friends, family, FB friends and TOPS sisters and brothers, I KNOW I can do this! The certainty I feel wanes at times but the bottom line of wanting to live a healthy lifestyle keeps me coming back. It doesn't matter how many times you fall down as long as you get back up afterward. My goal is to ALWAYS get back up!!!

November Goals:

*Circuit Train 3X per week
*Bike Ride 60 mins 3X per week (on cold nights do exercise video)
*Eat the colors of the rainbow every day
*Blog 4X per week
*Tack food EVERY DAY
*Drink 64 oz H2O daily
*Reach 299 pounds!!!!

My Program:
I go to TOPS every Monday and am thinking of joining OA. I haven't decided on the OA portion yet. LOL I've already gone down from about 390 (I know HUGE!) to about 361 but keep bouncing between 361 and 351. For some reason I can't get below 351, it's purely psychological I'm certain but knowing that doesn't make it any easier. My TOPS friends are AMAZING and are such a huge help to me! I couldn't do this without them.

Personal Information:
My dad had type II diabetes and recently passed away because of complications due to Congestive Heart Failure and Renal Failure. His brother currently has renal failure, diabetes and gongestive heart failure. I also lost my best friend to a heart attack. He was 42! I don't want that to be me! I am refocusing my efforts on being healthy. Being healthy isn't just being thin, as there are a lot of unhealthy skinny people out there. My nieces and sister in law are examples of that.I want to be healthy and realize that weight loss will follow if I'm eating healthy foods and exercising regularly.

I currently live in Burbank, California with my four little chihuahua kids and have lots of family support. I love riding my bike, swimming, and am working on getting back into circuit training.

Good job on the weight loss so far! I've only lost 7.2lbs., but I'm not in a hurry, I'm taking it day by day.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I think my brain just needs to decide that it's time and get in sync with the rest of me. I think baby steps are what I need right now. We can do it though, we have a great support network!
