I'm a 56 year old wife/Mom/homemaker/friend who used to be thin and in great shape half a lifetime ago...I know what it feels like and I want to get back there! Things happen, lifestyles change, and in what seems like nano seconds you look in the mirror and don't recognize the person looking back.....
I love to read. I appreciate nature. I have a massive collection of mid - 20th century dinnerware and kitchen glassware. My 2 dogs, a Schipperke and a Chocolate Lab, are my constant companions. UPDATE: Rascal my dear Schipperke passed away on January 19, 2010. We all miss him, especially me and my Chocolate Lab Lottie. Rascal was the boss of our family! My page will be dark for a time while I adjust to the loss of a true friend in this life.
BAD day yesterday. Blech. Felt awful, both physically and psychologically. Calling it a loss (or gain, as the case may be) and getting a fresh start again today. Hope you're having a great day and making GOOD choices!

Well, I did it. Got back on the treadmill and did my first walk of my virtual 5k workout. !5 minutes about killed me, and I didn't go fast at all. How SP thinks I'll do a mile next time, and a mile and a half after that, i don't know. But any exercise is better than none, right? Have you been doing it? Where are you in the workout?
