Hi! Started SP a little more than five years ago. It helped me get down to a size 6, something I never thought I'd do. However, much like the person with a hangover saying, "I'll never drink again," the good habits didn't last. Almost back to square one. Look forward to sharing this journey with you guys again!
1. To get down to the healthy BMI range.
2. To get down to a 6 or smaller--the last time I was in a 6 was grade school.
3.To wear shorts!
4. To run a 5k, and eventually a tri-athalon!

I was born and raised right outside of NOLA. Now I live about two hours away in Broussard working in retail management/stressing out. My dream is really to write and have my own animal sanctuaries.
I'm a huge bookworm! I love librarything.com, where I'm obsessive about logging my books! My favorite authors are Robert Cormier, Graham Joyce, Gregory Maguire, LJ Smith, Edward Gorey, and the list goes on..
As far as music goes, the iPod gets me to run! As you can probably tell, my favorite group is the Monkees, followed closely by the Doors and Tom Jones. Eighth row tickets to New Kids on the Block, a group I was obsessed with as a teen. Other than that, love 60s/70s/80s/early 90s music, and don't listen to anything new.
Movies: Managed a video store for five years, so have a bunch. I get all my motivation from 80s movies and their music! The Karate Kid, The Legend of Billie Jean, Monster Squad, Midnight Madness. I also love to be silly and let go, so South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, Jackass: Number Two, Bill Cosby: Himself are up there. Then, there's randomness, like Dogma, Fifth Element, Requiem for a Dream.
