I saw your post on Fasting and wanted to say that that would "never fly" here on SP. But, I have read some of Dr. Johnson's "ALTERNATE DAY DIET" book and find it really interesting. He says you can Fast 24 hours, then eat normal the next day, and then have a VLCD of about 250 calories, then alternate to a normal day, etc. He has an interview on YouTube and there is a SPARKTEAM to discuss his book. I think you are right about fasting. I'm reading "SUGARBUSTERS" the new edition and I'm amazed at what a problem INSULIN causes in our blood stream, when we eat all day long. Fasting gives EVERYTHING a rest. Our primitive relatives ate when they found food and that was NOT every day for the most part.
