My Goals:
I want to slim down, take a load off of my poor, aging joints and to look good again. I want to stop being embarrassed by my appearance.


My Program:
I'm using the good old-fashioned, tried and true, ELEM. Eat Less, Exercise More.

I have been going for a good brisk one or two mile walk nearly every day, increasing the difficulty and pace as I have been able to. I am watching what goes in my mouth and being vigilant about checking in here on SP to keep me mindful of my goals.

Welcome to the Living Binge Free team. Our approach is to emphasize feeding ourselves well for the long run rather than concentrating on what makes us lose weight. Having good quality, satisfying meals is the best weapon to being able to face down those urges to overeat and or take that first binge bite. Doesn't mean we don't feel the urges. It just means we know we aren't starving and can't really justify the extra food. Facing down the urges honestly is a lot of the battle.
