Hi I am Francesca and I am a year and 5 months into the Sparks Program. I started at 175 and I think today I am 145 but I have not been on the scale yet today! Anyway, I am a vegetarian, actually a vegan and it makes it harder I think because of all the complex carbs I need to eat but I work out a great deal and so far so good. I get allot of support from Teri, one of my friends that I met online here. My goal is 140. I am 57 years old and that makes it even harder I think. Good luck to ...

My Goals:
I want to get down to my goal weight of 140 and stay there. I want my blood tests to all be where my doctor wants them.
My Program:
I work out at least one hour per day of aerobic activity at least 5 days a week. I do crunches and work with hand weights. I follow my Spark eating plan for vegetarians and I have fellowship with other Spark members.
Personal Information:
I am married and have one married daughter, and I have four grandchildren. We live in the high desert in So Cal and I am retired. I am a pug lover.
Other Information:
I am a melanoma survivor and I encourage everyone to use sunscreen and cover up. Any day above ground is a good day.
