Many times people think they’re hungry when actually they are just thirsty. Staying hydrated and drinking plenty of water is a fundamental principle of weight loss. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill found that people who drink about 7 cups of water a day eat nearly 200 fewer calories than those who get less than a glass a day. The challenging part is to be sure to get enough throughout the day. Personally, I don’t really like water so I make drinking water a habit and do it without thinking about it. I always drink around 32 oz. in the morning when I work out and then at least one glass with each meal that I eat. I make it a point to get at least 8 glasses of water in a day. Most importantly, don’t confuse hunger for thirst. If you find yourself with hunger pangs, try drinking a glass of water first. 7 days ago
