Hi! I'm Lindsey. I'm 22, just graduated from Penn State in August with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I'm here because I want to start eating healthier and put on more muscle as well as tighten up the whole sha-bang. (see: My goals)
I'm 5'2'' and extra muscular in the leg area (just take a look at my pictures). I'm extremely self-conscious about this bod and I feel that even if I just tighten up everything on my body and lessen my body fat %, I will feel a hell of a lot better.
I've faced the facts of life and realized I'll never be a toothpick and to be honest, I don't really care to be. I want to turn what I have into something even better. Muscle is sexy and like many of the women on here that have inspired me, I want to be ripped! (I may refrence Madonna's arms frequently because they are rockin'!)
This journey is not only about discovering a new body, but discovering myself--my strengths, weaknesses, how far I can push myself and finding that confidence that is hidden somewhere inside of me...because I know it's there!

Changed my goal as of 12/12/07...I want to put on more muscle and tighten everything. I don't want to look like a figure competitor, think more like Jessica Biel or Madonna. I also want to keep my boobs! Haha
Working out 6 days a week & follow my diet.
1,200 calories a day
2 protein shakes a day
The new workout is something like this:
Cardio 6x wk -35-50 minutes
Normally intervals on the treadmill or elliptical followed by some stair climber action. I get bored easily so what I do for cardio changes everyday
Strength Training 5x wk - 45-60 minutes
Abs 4x wk
I do at least 500 reps of abs per days that I do abs.
Yoga 1-2x wk
I like to mellow out with a yoga/pilates mix DVD. With all the hardcore stuff I do, it's a nice change up.
Most importantly, I gave up coffee, eating after 8pm, dense carbs and fast food. I also drink TONS of water.
I'm from Philly, I love the Eagles, Penn State football and I guess really any sports. I like: working out, boxing, fantasy football, reading, writing, dance, tattoos, photography, shopping, tanning, the beach, friends, family, Dane Cook, pink, puppies, makeup, big snowflakes, giraffes, hugs, shoes, lillies, talking AND listening, meeting new people, wine, keepin' it classy and just loving and living life like it's goin out of style!

Hi Lindsey! Thank you so much for your compliment I appreciate it. I am trying to intensify my workouts. I know that I have to continue to be realistic about my body and that it is healthier to lose 1-2 pounds a week but, I would like to know what are some exercises that you know of that will help to get the pounds dropping and tone up my shape. I do have curves and I know that no matter what I do I am always going to have hips and a butt. I am aiming to get back into either a size 6 or 8. I know that I have along way to go but, I need all the support I can get. Thank you and keep doing great as I know you are.
