It's having goals that is more important than not reaching goals as quickly as we would like.

Years back i was a very thin teen and in my twenties average weight until after giving birth!! Weight has been a struggle for a while now. I have high hopes to have more fun in life by carrying less weight!

Hi emoticon
Even though we've been in email contact while I was gone I decided to send you my SparkFriend message today anyway.

Just a quick note to say hello and let you know I'm finally back from my summer travels and ready to start getting back into a Spark routine. I was getting pretty discouraged and frustrated at the beginning of the summer after 6 months of diligent effort and virtually no results. Now I'm working on figuring out a hopefully more successful "plan B". I've decided the first step is to start getting back in contact with some of my Spark Friends and posting on my teams again. I've joined the 55+ Female Team Challenge to "lose 10 pounds by Christmas" but so far am not feeling like the chance of success for me is very high. Hopefully my attitude will improve some as time goes by and I start getting back into the swing of things.

Hi, I thought I'd take a minute to write a quick note. We're back from camping and now getting ready to go to Rod's 50th High School Reunion this weekend followed by a trip to New Mexico and Texas the following week to visit my sons. I'm starting to feel like the summer is turning into a whirlwind of activity. Rod's follow-up doctor appointment is August 15 so we'll leave for Albuquerque on August 16, to Austin on August 22 and head back home on August 27. I just got a Jury Duty notice for September 2 too, maybe things will settle down after that. In the middle of all of this I'm still trying to find a new doctor too - what a nightmare! I haven't forgotten about my Spark Friends, just been really busy. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Success is not a race, be patient.
Success leads to success.
Success is always a work in progress.
Success doesn't come to you--you go to it.
Success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on the process.
Some people dream about success... while others wake up and work hard at it.
Success is achieved and maintained by those who try-and keep trying.
Everyday is a good day to SUCCEED!
If at first you don't succeed-try, try again - Author unknown

Thanks Andrea, for my goodie. No there are not many deer on the roads in my area, as it is fairly populated, but we do see more in the late fall. They are out in the more remote, rural areas, but we have seen some in our neighborhood many years ago, about 10, but since they have continued to in-build and fill in with more housing the deer have gone to less crowded areas.
