I am no longer here to try to loose some weight. Instead, I am using Spark to forge a lifestyle change - for good. Feel free to have a look around my page. If it seems that we have the same things in common, I'd like to meet you, cause I get great strength from my spark buddies. Its you guys who keep me motivated!

My Goals:
1. To increase my cardiac capacity
2. To increase lean muscle mass while decreasing body fat.
3. To increase my flexibility
1. To live Christ to others
2. To live out kindness and humility, and to be supportive of other people's goals and potential
3. To increase my capacity to care for others and to remember people in prayer

My Program:
- I do strength and flexibility workouts about 3 times a week
- Cardio is on a stationary bike, 3 times a week, where I try to keep my heart rate above 150 bpm for 30 minutes (please consult with a health care professional before trying this)
- Not eating much sugar (it's my vice, so I try to limit myself to a candy now and then)

Personal Information:
I am a healthcare worker who loves the outdoors. Anything hiking or kayaking, I'm an enthusiast. I love the mountains, but lakes are great too. As you can tell by some of the pictures I took and posted (not the background though), I document a lot of my fun.

I love my career where I experience the privilege to make a real difference in people's lives. I hope God uses me mightily for His kindom.

    Thank you so much for the SparkGoodie! I am trying hard to stay active. It's so easy to just sit back and put my feet up and not exercise. I was very enthusiastic when I was younger and couldn't sit still. Now I have aches and pains and have to make myself get up and move. I love SP because it helps keep me active.

    Thanks so much for being a Daisy Teammate and for your encouragement and inspiration. I would just love to go hiking and kayaking. Keep up the great work! You look marvelous and I am so sorry I drooled on your awesome pictures. LOL

    That's what I need to decide. I missed 2 rows in the snowman's lower body. I am thinking since most of the rows are white except on the edges it may only be visible to me and then I just need to make sure I don't count to this snowman when doing the other. To take it out would be half of my work so far.
